There has been a serious pollution incident upstream at Kirkton, with numerous fish found dead or dying. SEPA are currently running a “Clean Up” operation, I’m not sure of the status of the Clubs water, but this isn’t good news. I’d recommend no fishing until we have the all clear from SEPA.

2012 Membership
Membership for Season 2012 will open to the public on the 1st February 2012, members wishing to renew can so from the 1st January 2012, subject to conditions. If you wish to fish the River Almond then Day Tickets are available see Permits page for more information.

Club Nights
Paul Buchanan Fly Fying Demostration will be held on the 13th February 2012, starting at 19:30 at the Cramond Boat Club. This is for members only.
CAC Monomaster Deal
There is a small device called a Monomaster which some of the club members already use and have found it to be simple and effective in use. Details can be found here Monomaster . The club has been in touch with Phil Holding of Monomaster who has very kindly agreed to supply these to CAC members at a vastly reduced price. Depending on where you go, you will be charged between £7.95 and £10.95 but thanks to the generosity of Phil we are able to offer these to club members at only £3 each!!!!
