The club regularly receive queries regarding which fly to use or what works well on the Almond. The answer that you will get depends greatly on the river condition as well as what time of the year it is. But as a general recommendation the club would suggest:

Brown Trout:

Partridge & yellow, Olive Patterns, Greenwells spider, GRHE

Sea Trout:

Teal Blue and Silver, Grey Squirel, Silver Doctor, Medecine, Silver Stoats Tail

Salmon:

Shrimp flies, Cascades, Black and Yellow, Willie Gunn
