  4. A member sent these to us. fantastic pictures of just some of the water we have at our doorsteps. The member who sent them in said there was lots of fish rising all over the stretch at the back of the airport. please feel free to add more pictures to this thread.
  5. Members are invited to apply for the following events Note that places are limited, unless stated otherwise, and shall be allocated on a "first come" basis . Apply by text or phone to Adam Cross on 077522084959 and you will be advised directly thereafter should a place be available. If not then you will be placed on the reserve list, again on a "first come" basis. Places will not be confirmed until advance payment by cheque or bank transfer is made to the Treasurer. Please note that should you be unable to attend we shall try and fill the place however the club cannot guarantee that a refund shall be made. SALMON OUTING When: Friday 2 June Where : River Tummel at Pitlochry Cost :£40/head SEA TROUT EVENT When: Friday 16 June 8pm-midnight Where : River Almond - Caddells Row Car Park Cost: FREE to all members. There will be a barbecue at this event, with a modest charge for food/refreshment, and all members are invited to come along for a blether irrespective of whether they intend to fish or not. So that we can gauge likely attendance and whether you intend to fish or not, it would be appreciated if you could drop an e mail to secretary@fishalmond.com before 1June 2017 CRAMOND CELEBRATION DAY When: 12 August 2017 (times to be confirmed) Where: Cramond Falls Cafe area Cost: No entrance fee This event is sponsored by River Forth Fisheries Trust to celebrate the River Almond and will include several local community groups, including Cramond Angling Club. Support from members of the club would be greatly appreciated STILLWATER OUTING AND ADULT COMPETITION When: Sun 20 Aug 2017 Where: Glencorse Reservoir Cost : £30 (including boat hire ) + £5 for outboard This event has limited places due to availability of boats and members are advised to book early FORTHCOMING EVENTS AN EVENING ON THE RIVER When: Date to be confirmed, likely June /July 2017 Where : River Almond Cost : Free to all members The format is to be finalised but will include some form of instruction in fishing technique, including supervised practice and fishing tips for the river SALMON OUTING When : November 2017 Where: River Tweed, nr Walkerburn Cost: To be confirmed

  7. I was down yesterday. Water was very high and coloured. didnt see any fish jumping or trying to get up the ladder.
  8. Club official opening day is Saturday the 4th of February. Why not join us for a barbecue and a dram. We will be kicking things off at 8:45am for a 9:00am start.

  10. Please remember to put your email addresses in your season ticket carefully. We need your email address to verify you as a member on the site, although it still can be done without an email address its a lot slower and harder to confirm. Thanks

  12. We have finally managed to get our new website up and running. But this means that Everyone must sign up again. It will take some time to validate all users who have paid for the seasons membership (club members) But please be patient this will be all sorted in due course. Hopefully you enjoy and like the new site as much as we do.
